Elishama Tekoa (Wright) is a dynamic Praise and Worship Leader/Pastor and International Contemporary Christian recording artist Popularly known as “Apostle of Music”. She is a native of Chicago, but now Resides in the sunny state of Florida. Elishama is a wife, mother, daughter, sister and great friend; she is married to Dr. Timothy Wright, and they have a host of children between the two of them.

Elishama Tekoa is a songwriter, author, budding actress, Radio Personality (i.e. The Gospel Express 1570AM and Rejoice 102.3FM, and “We Lit Show” Christ Family Apostolic Network) , Vocal Coach, life coach, counselor, host of podcast The Tea w/Dr. E and Kingdom Conversations with her hubby and they own Multiple-Businesses. She brings a perfect blend of exceptional skill, power passion and Humor in all that she does “The Keepin it Real Queen”. It is Elishama’s desire to deliver a Kingdom message of empowerment, transformation, love, peace, healing and hope through music and teaching continuously.

Elishama loves to share her testimony to help others overcome abuse, infirmities, mental and emotional distress through different evangelistic tools like music, books, social media, etc.
Throughout her Career, Elishama has released several singles and two albums. This awesome woman has been nominated for a Chicago Music Award, She has also won an unsung hero award, and many more. Elishama has traveled throughout the United States and abroad ministering in song, gracing the same stages with so many legendary people (i.e. Kim Stratton, the Brown sisters, Queen of Gospel Dr. Albertina Walker, Grammy award winning Pastor Darius Brooks, etc.)

Elishama Tekoa Wright is well educated with a B.A. in General Education, M.A. in Business and DMN in Biblical studies and worship; she is also certified, licensed and ordained as a Prophetess and Apostle who loves to go outside of the four walls of the church to give, heal, inspire and uplift people to a higher place in the Kingdom of God. An example of this is the Monthly ministry that she and her husband leads, which is praying for and feeding the homeless worldwide;
they also minister in the prison system. Elishama’s passion for ministering to the homeless first started in Chicago with her yearly event that she formerly hosted, called “The Experience” held in the West Englewood area of Chicago for seven years. This event was sponsored by Elishama, her team and so many others who gave donations financially and food each year; everything was FREE.
